Look who's here... :)

When I first saw Maryellen I wasn't really interested in getting her. I thought she was pretty, but I didn't feel the need to add her to my doll family. But after seeing some more pictures of Maryellen (not from American Girl, I mean) she started to grow on me. And then I read her books. It's always the books that get you, isn't it? :) When you read the books you really get to know the character, and often that's how I decide if I want a historical character. As you can probably guess, I usually enjoy the books a lot. :) After reading Maryellen's books I was certain that she would be coming here. 
And here she is!

Isn't it funny how sometimes your doll seems to tell you things? Ellie immediately told me that she wears glasses. :)

Ellie has been sharing clothes with Molly and Kit because A) I don't have any of her clothes besides her meet outfit, and B) in her stories, she was wearing hand-me-downs from her older sisters, so I figured a some of Molly and Kit's clothes might work for her. Either way, she looks adorable in anything. :)
