Playing with Hanna's hair

Since I haven't properly introduced her here, This is Hanna:
I picked Hanna out at the American Girl store in New York, back in April ( pictures here if you'd like to take a look! ). When Hanna first arrived, her curls were thinner and more spiral-shaped.
I ended up shaping them into slightly bigger curls (almost like Cecile's) as I styled them. Then, I decided to comb her hair out with the doll hair pick. Here's what that looked like:

I wet her hair and starting at the bottom , I gently combed her hair out. It didn't get frizzy, which is a good thing. And today I decided that I wanted to shape her hair back into ringlets.
So here's what I did:
First, I wet her hair. Then I gently combed out a small section of her hair with the doll hair pick.
Then I twisted that section around a pencil

And it made a pretty nice curl!

So I kept doing that for the rest of her hair

I think her hair turned out really nice.
And now I know what  happens if you brush out #26's hair. I don't think I'll be doing that again, but it was an educational experience.  :)
